Tallinding United Suffer Setback

Tallinding United suffered another defeat this time in the hands of Hawks FC in the fourth week of GFA league two at the Serrekunda East mini stadium on Wednesday.
They first lost 1-0 to Latrikunda United in week three fixtures before their 3-2 defeat to Hawks FC. The defeat now left them with six points in four games as they won two and lose two games in a row.
Hawks Midfielder Kebba Faye scored an own goal in the 38th minute to separate the two sides before the break in favour of Tallinding United.
Buba Sumareh of Hawks netted the equaliser just a minute into the second period after benefiting from Kebba Faye’s cross. The same Kebba Faye made it 2-1 later in the 75th minute, Omar Njie increased the goal tally to 3-1. Tallinding United then responded with a strike from Haruna Jabang through a spot kick but was not enough to save his side but rather changed the scores to 3-2 in favor of Hawks.
In another development, Banjul United drew to a goalless against Latrikunda United in Banjul KG5 mini stadium, and Lamin FC failed to collect their maximum three points after the match ended goalless against Nema United in Brikama Box Bar.
