Ngetcell-Sports (Second
Division) Lamin Kinteh, a young PSV Wellingara striker demolished the
Gambia Police Force’s football team on Monday with four goals, to help his side
to a 5-1 victory in the Gambian second divisional league.
Speaking to Ngetcell Sports after the game, Lamin
Kinteh said he is happy to bang the goals and hope to continue scoring in their
upcoming games.
The Young striker said they were under pressure for revenge,
as they were defeated by this team on the first leg by a goal to nil.
The GPF coach Lamin Jammeh, expressed his disappointment with
the loss, after his side conceded three goals in 20 minutes.
“We were trying to turn the game around, but we could not
after having a lot of missed chances, whilst our opponents took their chances
well and the game ended 5-1 in their favor, but this is football you never
know,” he said.
Kebab Sawaneh, head coach of Wellingara, said this is their
biggest win so far this season and thanked his players for their best efforts
put together.
The player who scored four goals is instrumental young
player to the team, this is his seventh goal of the season, we hope he continue
doing so, he concluded.
